Represent.Us is a fiercely non-partisan movement to pass tough anti-corruption laws in cities and states across America, and end the legalized corruption that has come to define modern politics.

We’re hiring a Digital Director to oversee the creation and execution of innovative digital campaigns that rapidly scale our supporter base, turn online followers into real-world volunteers, and deepen the engagement of existing Represent.Us members. You’ll manage a kick-ass digital team and collaborate daily with rock-star senior leaders across the organization.

You won’t be starting from scratch; we’ve already got more than 600K members, nearly 400K Facebook followers and a digital media arsenal that’s been viewed more than 20 million times. But the status quo isn’t enough. We need to be recruiting millions of people – because winning the fight against political corruption will take a hell of a lot of people power.

Our ideal candidate is that rare combination of creative, strategic, visionary, and disciplined. You know the rules and know when to break them. You’re an accomplished manager of both people and projects – someone with proven experience in developing and running ambitious campaigns that reach and exceed their goals. You’re a good team player who’s ready to make a major impact. Oh, and you’re a little obsessed with click-through rates (that’s a given, right?).

Represent.Us is the nation’s largest grassroots anti-corruption campaign. We bring conservatives and progressives together to fix America’s corrupt political system.

Our small team is a carefully curated mix of seasoned political campaigners, policy wonks, advertising experts, designers, and engineers. We’re not a startup, but we’ve got startup DNA: we’re nimble, constantly learning and iterating, and know when it’s time to celebrate a Wednesday afternoon with root beer floats. We constantly push ourselves to push the envelope – to ignore “industry standards” and set a new standard.

Compensation and Benefits

We are committed to bringing in top talent from all sectors. About You

Our new Digital Director will thrive in a self-directed and casual work environment – but know exactly when it’s time to put everyone’s nose to the grindstone and get the job done. You’ll have strong aesthetic sensibilities, be an excellent writer (read: we shouldn’t need to edit your work), and understand work-hard, play-hard culture.

You must have a proven track record in the following areas:

  • Explosive, strategic list growth
  • Optimization campaigns for both web and email
  • Successful conversion of list members from online to offline action
  • Fundraising from a national list
  • Effective management of high-level projects
  • Writing and coding emails in ActionKit, NationBuilder, Salsa, or equivalent campaigning software

Experience or management in the following areas is a major plus (but not required):

  • Video content
  • Team management
  • Graphic design
  • Digital ad campaigns
  • Nonprofit advocacy

Finally, you should have a great attitude and embrace working in a cross-partisan organization.
