Everlane is about radical transparency. Know your factories. Know your costs. Always ask why.
Do you like building things?
We’re looking for people who want to help us build the next generation of e-commerce along with tools to support a global supply chain, improving architecture and performance or anything you can think of which helps improve the experience of our customers or employees.
We do most of our work with:
- Ruby on Rails
- React & Redux
Working at Everlane
Our team is comprised of engineers from a variety of backgrounds and skill-sets; below are some of the things we’ve built over the years:
- A modern ecommerce site built specifically for how our company operates and sells its products.
- Merchandising tools that help our team to coordinate the purchasing, logistics, and sale of every product that goes through our store.
- An event collection and data analysis platform for discovering how our customers shop.
- A system for delivering our clothes to our customers in less than an hour.
- A home try-on feature to help our customers find the size that fits them best.
Everlane has a strong culture of transparency and honesty. We care about effective communication and process, but we also don’t follow any particular development regimen (eg. scrum).
At Everlane, we’re rethinking the way retail works. We have no physical stores, no middlemen taking their cut and no crazy brand markups. Instead, we design our own luxury basics and sell them exclusively at Everlane.com. Since launching in November 2011, Everlane has attracted over 1,000,000 members and has been featured in The New York Times, New York Magazine, The Economist, Elle, and GQ.
Please note before submitting an application: as a company, we take hiring very seriously. Interviewing with Everlane may include video and phone interviews, written projects, and/or on-site interviews. Although we are unable to follow-up with each and every applicant, we do our best to run a thorough process for candidates with whom we identify a potential fit.
Everlane is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity at the company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, genetics, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
